The Kosair Arab Patrol was the very first uniformed body formed by
Kosair Shrine, all the way back in the 1800’s. Anyone who is
interested in the real early history of Kosair should be anxious to
get involved with Patrol.
The Kosair Arab Patrol enjoys providing color guard services for
various functions of Kosair Shrine, and as a bonus benefit, you get
to wear a red jacket provided by the unit, so that everyone gets the
same shade as a uniformed body.
Since we were the first uniformed body of Kosair, it was only
natural that when the Patrol was formed as a unit, each member
belonged to only the one unit. Over the years, it has evolved to the
status that now all members belong to two or more units.
The Kosair Arab Patrol meets at 12 Noon on the first Monday of each
month in the Kosair Dining Room area.
Anyone who would be
interested in becoming a part of a good unit, please call Marvin
Foster, Secretary, at 812-923-3409, or any other Patrolman, so we
can explain more in detail what we stand for. |
