For more than 30 years, the Glasgow Shrine Club has dedicated itself
to helping Kosair Kids. Since 1969, Shriners from the Glasgow area
have raised an amazing amount of over $400,000 for Kosair Charities
through the club’s annual candy sales. The fundraiser is much more
than just a sweet gesture. It’s a tradition of helping children that
the Glasgow Shrine Club vows to continue.
Each September, the Glasgow Shrine Club kicks off the annual candy
sales. The Shriners sell candy throughout the South-Central Kentucky
area, including Glasgow, Columbia, Burkesville and Horse Cave. The
candy sales kick off during the huge roller coaster yard sale that
runs along Highway 90 and Highway 63 from Mammoth Cave to Tennessee. |
