Here's a few
photos from the Harvest Homecoming Festival
Parade held in New Albany, IN on October 4.
Thousands of people applauded Kosair
Shriners on the parade route.
The
"double-faced" car was a big hit. The 1957
Mercury vehicle was donated by Past
Potentate Gene Wells to Kosair Charities for
the purposes of entertaining families and
kids as well as bringing the joy of
Shrinedom to the community.
The elite
Kosair Shrine Ceremonial Director's Staff
unit cooked a hot breakfast for hundreds of
parade volunteers, safety officials and the
public beginning at 7 am on the parade
route. Donations from the breakfast this
year will be used to support Gold Fidelity
DeMolay and Job's Daughters.
Dozens of
Kosair Shrine nobles and their families
enjoyed fine fellowship the entire day.
Present were nobles of the Flying Fezzes,
Sand Bugs, Ceremonial Director's Staff,
Funsters, Street Machines, Divan, Greeters,
Emergency Relief Team, Patrol,
Transportation, Legion of Honor, 32 Club,
Glasgow Shrine Club, Riasok Shrine Club as
well as other Units and Clubs. |
