Sadie Hawkins
Night was filled with laughter and joy as more
than 250 witnessed the famous Kosair Players
perform their hillbilly version of the wedding
of Lil' Abner and Sadie Hawkins. Potentate Jim
was Lil" Abner, Recorder Eddie was the lovely
Sadie Hawkins pictured in a wedding dress, and
Past Potentate Bob Frye was the minister.
The night was
made complete with the attendance of thirteen
members of the Wounded Warrior Unit stationed at
Fort Knox and the beautiful Ms. Kanyon Bell.
Kanyon is shown being held by Commander Darrell
Blennis of the Kosair Legion of Honor with SSGT
Linda Brashaers of the Wounded Warriors. Kanyon
was given the lovely ballerina outfit. Despite
her physical challenges, Kanyon hopes one day to
be a ballerina.
