Many people recognize the Kosair Hobby Clubs from the many events in which they participate through out the community.

The Hobby Clubs offer a great opportunity to become involved with some very interesting people and fun hobbies.

Kosair 32 Club

Meeting Times: 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of Each Month @ 12:00pm
Location: Kosair Shrine Center

Bullitt County Shrine Club is located in the heart of Bullitt County, a few short miles from the county seat of Shepherdsville. It is on Sunview Drive just off Highway 44 between Shepherdsville and Mt. Washington, on a picturesque ten acre track approximately 3 miles east of Interstate 65.

The Bullitt County Shrine Club was chartered December 13, 1971. The present building and grounds were dedicated May 28, 1977.

Among its many activities, Bullitt County Shrine Club is proud to have sponsored the award-winning Motor Corps that once consisted of the Southeastern competition Mustang Unit; The Fun Bugs (Dune Bugs); Antique Cars; and the award-winning 1000 CC Gold Wings. All of the awards, Trophies, Badges and Ribbons are proudly displayed in the lobby as you enter the building.

We now have a very active Motor Corps with about 50 members who meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at the Club. Come on down and check us out, I know you will enjoy yourself, and the Ladies are always welcome.

The Bullitt County Shrine Club is truly an activity-minded club. All of the activities culminate in enjoyment for its members and their guests, making it an ornate extension of Kosair in the picturesque setting of Bullitt County.

Glasgow Shrine Club

Meeting Times: 1st Thursday of each month @ 6:30pm CST

For more than 30 years, the Glasgow Shrine Club has dedicated itself to helping Kosair Kids. Since 1969, Shriners from the Glasgow area have raised an amazing amount of over $400,000 for Kosair Charities through the club’s annual candy sales. The fundraiser is much more than just a sweet gesture. It’s a tradition of helping children that the Glasgow Shrine Club vows to continue.

​Each September, the Glasgow Shrine Club kicks off the annual candy sales. The Shriners sell candy throughout the South-Central Kentucky area, including Glasgow, Columbia, Burkesville and Horse Cave. The candy sales kick off during the huge roller coaster yard sale that runs along Highway 90 and Highway 63 from Mammoth Cave to Tennessee.

Downtown High Twelve Club #105

Golf Club

Meeting Times: 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm
Location: Kosair Shrine Center

The Kosair Shrine Golf Club continues to bring members together to enjoy fellowship, fun and competition. We support our Kosair Divan and Kosair Charities while at the same time providing an atmosphere where our Masonic virtues can be tested and proven. We welcome new members. If you like the hit the little white ball and enjoy the wonders of what God and man can do with a piece of earth, come and join us at our next meeting.

​We welcome all Nobles interested to join the Kosair Golf Club. Our initial dues are $65.00, which includes a shirt and hat. After the initial year, dues are only $25.00 per year. Please contact Hubert Huffman at 502-640-2415 for more information about the Kosair Shrine Golf Club.

​This year we will have 2 leagues. A 9 hole, single man league, on Monday and our normal 18 hole, 2 man league, which is moving to Thursday morning. Our 9 hole league, at Cherokee GC, will start Monday, May 16, 2016, at 5:45pm and run for 16 weeks, excluding holidays. Tee times will start at 5:45pm and run concurrently, till all golfers are on the coarse. Thursday May 19, 2016, we will start our 18 hole league at 8:30am. We will play every Thursday for 18 weeks. We have confirmed via agreement to play “The Crossings”, “Long Run” and “Shawnee GC” this year. We will play “The Crossings” on May 19th. The next Thursday we will play Long Run, followed the next Thursday at Shawnee through September. We will have a shotgun start at 8:30 am at all courses. Score cards will be placed in the drop box tagged Kosair golf Club in the pro shop. The Club Secretary who will forward the cards to noble Howard Goldberg for handicapping.

Mark Twain Shrine Club

The Mark Twain Shrine Club was founded in January 2000. The Columbia, Kentucky-based club collects money at roadblocks to help Kosair Charities help children, as well as through other varieties of fundraisers and events.

​Since the club’s inception, the Mark Twain Shrine Club has donated thousands of dollars to Kosair Charities.

Nomads Bourbon & Cigar Club

Kosair Shrine Bourbon & Cigar Club is a place where one can find, sample and enjoy different and fine bourbon’s while, either kicking back having a nice cigar or just to enjoy a tasty adult beverage with like-minded brothers. Some days may be too cool to have a cigar, (cigars on patio only please).

Meetings are held at Kosair Shrine on the 1st Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m..

Oldham County Shrine Club

Meeting Times: 1st Wednesday of each Month @ 7:00pm
Location: 2nd Floor of Baptist Hospital Northeast

The Oldham County Shrine Club was formed by the Late Ill. Sir Jim Fisher, Sr., PP and six other Kosair Shrine members. They work with the Red Cross to make sure area families who can’t afford it have a Merry Christmas with gifts, clothes and a Holiday Dinner with all the trimmings.

​The Oldham County Shrine Club meets on the first Wednesday of every month at 7:00 p.m., on the second floor of Baptist Hospital Northeast, located at 1025 New Moody Lane in LaGrange, KY (Exit 22 off I-71)

Sand Bugs Club

Meeting Times: 2nd Monday of each month @ 7:00pm
Location: Kosair Shrine Center

The purpose of the Sand Bugs is to provide members active participation in Kosair Shrine, to promote safety, to create good will, to promote loyalty, spirit and good fellowship.

Subject to the Potentates’ order and approval, provide vehicular transportation to him, the Divan and/or others so designated and to contribute by parade to the enjoyment of the Nobility at Shrine events or other occasions to promote Kosair Shrine in the public.

The Sand Bugs also participate in the S.E.S.A. competitions and various other events throughout the year.

Street Machines Club

Meeting Times: Last Monday of each month @ 7:30pm

We meet at the Shrine on the Last Monday of every month at 7:30 p.m.
The Street Machines Club held it’s first meeting on January 12, 2002 and was started with 12 members. 2002 Potentate Gordon Berry presented the Club its charter and approved the by-laws.

​Members of the Kosair Shriners Street Machines Club share a love of automobiles. This Club is for any Kosair Noble with a street legal vehicle of ANY type. We meet at the Shrine on the last Monday of every month at 7:30 p.m.

Top Hat Gun Club
